You may be familiar with eight, the telco known for its ultra-cheap SIM plans in Singapore and its obsession with the number 8. Well, they've recently made the move into broadband, and those cheap prices keep on coming. Let's dive into everything you need to know about eight broadband.
eight fibre broadband plans
eight is keeping it real simple with its broadband product, offering just one plan speed (10Gbps) split into four tiers: Flex 8, Plus 8, Pro 8, and Elite 8. All plans include free NLT service activation, free ONT device and installation, a twice-yearly internet check, and a 28-day service guarantee.
Flex 8 is a no-frills plan with a shorter 12-month contract that costs just $26.80 per month. Note that this doesn't include a router, so you'll need to bring your own.
Next up is the Plus 8 plan, which does come with an eero 7 router (capable of wireless speeds up to 2.5Gbps). At $27.80, it's only a dollar pricier than the cheapest plan, but it does come with a longer 24-month contract.
One step up again is the Pro 8 plan, which comes in at $28.80 per month over 24 months and comes with an eero Pro 7 router (capable of wireless speeds up to 5Gbps).
Finally, the Elite 8 is eight's most expensive plan at $31.80 per month on a 24-month contract. It includes an eero Max 7 router, which is capable of achieving the full 10Gbps speeds on offer.
Compared to other 10Gbps offerings in our database, eight has the cheapest broadband plans, even cheaper than some slower plans from other brands.
