SIMBA is the not-so-new name for a mobile and internet provider that used to be called TPG. In terms of mobile in Singapore, SIMBA is one of four networks, alongside Singtel, StarHub, and M1. While it’s not yet 10 years old, SIMBA has followed in the footsteps of its Australian TPG roots: namely, competitive prices for internet and mobile plans.
If you want a SIMBA plan, there are several SIM-only options available. While SIMBA doesn’t typically offer any phones to pair with its mobile plans, SIMBA does support eSIM devices, and all of its plans include free International Direct Dial (IDD) call minutes.
SIMBA SIM-only plans
No matter which SIMBA plan you go with, expect hundreds of gigabytes of data. All SIMBA SIM-only plans have no contracts, 30-day expiries, 5G access, eSIM support, unlimited local call minutes to mobiles, and unlimited SMS to other SIMBA mobile users. They also have IDD minutes to 20+ selected dialling destinations, 100 IDD minutes to Myanmar, plus SIMBA roaming data covers up to 60+ destinations. The base plan data is usable in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong, and all plans from $12 upwards also let customers use plan data in Thailand. The only exception is the seniors plan, which is only usable in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

SIMBA mobile phones and devices
Unlike Singtel, M1 and StarHub, SIMBA isn’t known for selling mobile phones with its SIM-only plans. That said, there may be occasional and limited phone bundles available for purchase at participating SIMBA retail stores.

SIMBA prepaid plans all offer 5G access, support eSIM, and have unlimited calls to local mobile, plus free SMS to other SIMBA mobile users. They also have 100 IDD call minutes to Myanmar and roaming data for use in 67 selected destinations. Prepaid data can be used in either Singapore or Malaysia for all plans, and also in Indonesia for any SIMBA prepaid plan from $12 upwards. Its low prices make SIMBA an excellent choice for kids and seniors.
