We tend to lean towards SIM-only plans with no contracts because it’s easier to switch mobile providers when a better option comes along, but there's a wide array of factors we take into consideration:
Price
We consider overall price not just promotional pricing.
We evaluate price in terms of first-year value, which helps separate great pricing from a limited-time promotion that may not offer better value in the long run.
Data
To choose the best SIM-only deals we use included monthly local data.
This helps determine the overall dollar-to-data value.
We also take into account if that data is 4G or 5G.
Roaming
Singapore is a land of frequent flyers and travellers, so we prioritise plans with roaming inclusions.
While the focus is on roaming data, extra points are given to plans with voice and SMS roaming.
