The Nintendo Switch 2 has officially launched in several parts of the world. It's sold millions of copies already, with early reviews praising the new upgrades. Namely, its larger screen, smoother gameplay, and versatile use of the Switch 2 Joy-Cons. However, Singaporeans will need to wait a little longer to get their hands on the next-generation console.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will be available for purchase on June 26th, with pre-orders open now until June 25th. Even though pre-orders are open for other Southeast Asian countries, like Thailand and Malaysia, they’ll need to wait until September 2025.
The console will retail for $719, with a 12-month warranty coverage. If you’ve got kids or you enjoy the unbridled chaos of the Mario Kart franchise, we’d recommend picking up the Mario Kart World bundle instead, which retails for $769. If you were to buy the game stand-alone, you’d be looking at an eye-watering $119.90. This is the unfortunate new pricing ballpark for Nintendo’s most popular titles. The Mario Kart bundle also comes with the physical game cartridge, unlike the digital game codes distributed in countries like the United States and Australia.
You’ll also get a 15% discount on a 256GB SanDisk microSD Express Card for Nintendo Switch 2 if you purchase it in the same transaction. Perfect for those hefty game files, like Wolfenstein: Youngblood and L.A Noir.
