It’s executive-produced by The Duffer Brothers, who also produced the eerie Something Bad Is Going To Happen, and the critically acclaimed Stranger Things.

What is The Boroughs about?
The Boroughs is a supernatural murder mystery set in a New Mexico retirement village. Our story picks up with Sam Cooper (Alfred Molina), a resident newcomer and widower, who begins to witness some eerie hallucinations and frightening dreams of his late wife
As the series continues, we see Cooper join a misfit crew who work to uncover a deep, dark conspiracy plaguing the retirement community. It’s an exciting blend of horror, humour, and emotional heart, and is worth a look in if you enjoy monster mysteries.
Even though season one ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, you’ll be pleased to know that The Boroughs’ creators have a three-season arc plan for the show. Showrunner Jeffery Addiss told IGN they “have ideas for season two and know where it goes." Unfortunately, Netflix has not yet officially renewed the show for a second season.
