I know, we're all sick of remakes (let alone remakes of remakes), but given who's behind it, this show may just be the exception. Inspired by the iconic 1962 and 1991 psychological thrillers of the same name, Cape Fear stars Amy Adams, Patrick Wilson, and Javier Bardem in a gripping tale of revenge.
Here's everything you need to know.
Where to watch Cape Fear in Singapore
Like all Apple TV originals, Cape Fear is available exclusively on (you guessed it) Apple TV. If you're not already a subscriber, you can try before you buy with a seven-day free trial, which, at the very least, is long enough to binge both seasons of Severance, and maybe even Widow's Bay.
After the trial period, Apple TV starts at $13.98 per month. However, if you're already subscribed to iCloud, Apple Music, and/or Apple Arcade, it's better value to go for an Apple One subscription that bundles all those services for $23.95 per month for one person or $29.95 for up to six people in a family group.

What is Cape Fear about?
Cape Fear follows the story of married attorneys Anna (Amy Adams) and Tom Bowden (Patrick Wilson), whose picture-perfect life is about to be shaken up when Max Cady (played by Javier Bardem), the murderer they put behind bars, is released from prison with a hankering for vengeance.
With Martin Scorsese (director of the acclaimed 1991 film) and Stephen Spielberg listed among the executive producers, not to mention a star-studded cast and Apple TV's penchant for quality over quantity, it's hard to imagine Cape Fear being anything less than excellent.
It premiered on June 5, with new episodes dropping weekly on Fridays at 3pm Singapore time.
No, as Cape Fear is a 10-episode limited miniseries, it's highly unlikely there will be another season. However, if you're keen for more, be sure to check out the 1962 and 1991 films.
