While other smartphone manufacturers have phones that cost $2,000+, every Xiaomi phone in Singapore can be bought for under $2,000. Better still, most new Xiaomi phones are priced at under $1,000, focusing on the mid-range and budget categories. But just because Xiaomi doesn't offer a lot of flagship choices, it doesn't mean you can't expect premium specs and features, with plenty of bang for your buck. Let's take a look at the best Xiaomi phones in different price brackets.

Best Xiaomi phone in Singapore overall: Xiaomi 15 Ultra

  • Display: 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED (120Hz)
  • Chip: 8-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform
  • Memory: 16GB
  • Storage: 512GB or 1TB
  • Cameras: 1x 200MP and 3x 50MP rear, 32MP front
  • Battery: 5410mAh, 90W fast charge
  • Connectivity: 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0
  • Operating system: Xiaomi HyperOS 2

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is the main flagship phone, which Xiaomi claims offers the pinnacle of photography. Co-engineered with high-end camera manufacturer Leica, the rear quad camera array is comprised of three 50MP lenses and a single 200MP ultra telephoto lens. Practically speaking, you should expect to take great pics in well-lit or low-light situations. For photography enthusiasts, the 15 Ultra design even mimics a DSLR camera.

Expect performance to spare from the 15 Ultra, care of a speedy Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, plus 16GB of memory for smooth everyday functionality and multitasking. Despite the extra power, the 15 Ultra boasts up to 25 hours of video playback, which is impressive with the 5410mAh battery. And with 90W wired charging or 80W wireless charging capabilities, expect to get back to full charge faster.

If you push the Xiaomi 15 Ultra to its limits with high-end gaming, the dual-channel IceLoop system is there to keep the phone cool. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra also has IP68 dust and water resistance. In terms of connectivity, it's all latest-gen tech, including 5G, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0 (for lower-latency wireless peripherals), plus there's an infrared blaster for controlling smart appliances.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is available on a plan through StarHub. Below are the plans currently on offer.

Best Xiaomi phone in Singapore around $1,000: Xiaomi 15

  • Display: 6.36-inch FHD+ AMOLED (120Hz)
  • Chip: 8-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform
  • Memory: 12GB
  • Storage: 256GB or 512GB
  • Cameras: 3x 50MP rear, 32MP front
  • Battery: 5240mAh, 90W fast charge
  • Connectivity: 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0
  • Operating system: Xiaomi HyperOS 2

If the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is too expensive for your smartphone price range, consider the Xiaomi 15 base model instead. For just over $1,000 RRP, the Xiaomi 15 has some key specs that cross over with its more expensive sibling, including the same Snapdragon 8 Elite processor for speedy performance. And while the Xiaomi 15 doesn't have the same memory as the Ultra, 12GB is still enough for multitasking and more hardware-intensive apps.

You also get cameras co-engineered with Leica. While the 200MP camera from the 15 Ultra isn't included here, the Xiaomi 15 has three 50MP rear cameras and the same 32MP selfie cam. Bottom line: you should still expect great-quality pics with the Xiaomi 15's cameras. The battery is slightly smaller than the Ultra at 5240mAh, but Xiaomi claims the same 25 hours of video playback, plus it also supports 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 15 has the same AI suite as the Ultra, too, covering photography assistance as well as tools for everyday use, including writing, speech recognition, and search. Unlike other brands, the cheaper base model doesn't compromise on connectivity, meaning you also get WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 with the Xiaomi 15.

For an even cheaper alternative (albeit with less impressive specs), consider the Xiaomi 15T Pro as a worthy substitute.

Best Xiaomi phone in Singapore under $750: Xiaomi 15T

  • Display: 6.83-inch FHD+ AMOLED (120Hz)
  • Chip: 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra
  • Memory: 12GB
  • Storage: 256GB or 512GB
  • Cameras: 2x 50MP and 1x 12MP rear, 32MP front
  • Battery: 5500mAh, 67W fast charge
  • Connectivity: 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0
  • Operating system: Xiaomi HyperOS 2

You can get the Xiaomi 15T for under $600 in Singapore. While a cheaper mid-range model than the Xiaomi 15, the 15T still holds its own, especially when it comes to memory: it comes with 12GB of memory, plus a choice of 256GB or 512GB storage. Impressively, the Xiaomi 15T also hangs onto WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 wireless connectivity.

The big difference between the Xiaomi flagship phones and everything from this price point down is the processor. Snapdragon is flagship-only, but the midrange and budget models use a MediaTek chip. While Snapdragon has the edge, the Xiaomi 15T's MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor can mostly keep up with Qualcomm's speedy chip, especially when it comes to everyday use cases.

If you buy the Xiaomi 15T, you can still expect to take great pictures via the Leica co-engineered triple camera array on the back, two of which have 50MP sensors. The durability and water/dust resistance carries over to the 15T, all housed inside a thin 7.5mm casing. You'll also find practical AI implementation, and Xiaomi claims you can expect 13+ hours of battery life with consistent use. When the battery hits 0%, a full recharge takes just under an hour with 67W wired charging.

The Xiaomi 15T isn't currently available through any telcos, but you can purchase it outright and pair it with one of these cheap mobile plans.

Best Xiaomi phone in Singapore around $500: Xiaomi 14T

  • Display: 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED (144Hz)
  • Chip: 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra
  • Memory: 12GB
  • Storage: 256GB or 512GB
  • Cameras: 2x 50MP and 1x 12MP rear, 32MP front
  • Battery: 5000mAh, 67W fast charge
  • Connectivity: 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4
  • Operating system: Xiaomi HyperOS

If you want to save even more money, consider the Xiaomi 14T. While it's a 2024 model, the 14T has identical memory, storage, and camera sensors as the Xiaomi 15T. The MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip also offers the same connectivity: 5G, WiFi 6E, and low-latency Bluetooth 6.0. What's better is a 144Hz screen refresh rate, for higher frame-rate gaming and an overall smoother experience.

Speaking of gaming, the 2024 MediaTek processor can comfortably handle mobile games, while the 12GB of memory is enough for responsive multitasking. The chip is even better for battery life, with Xiaomi rating the 14T for up to 15 hours of continuous use. Recharging from 0% to 100% takes just 45 minutes, and the battery life cycle is rated for a respectable 1,600 recharges.

Despite the cheaper price, the Xiaomi 14T (and 14T Pro) come with some great perks, like six months of Google One storage and three months of YouTube Premium. For peace of mind, there's 24 months of customer service and quality assurance; you can even get a replacement phone if something goes wrong in the first two years. Couple those add-ons with a durable phone that has practical AI features for everyday tasks, and the Xiaomi 14T offers great overall value.

Best budget Xiaomi phone in Singapore: Xiaomi 12T

  • Display: 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED (120Hz)
  • Chip: 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra
  • Memory: 8GB or 12GB
  • Storage: 128GB or 256GB
  • Cameras: 1x 108MP, 1x 8MP, and 1x 2MP rear, 20MP front
  • Battery: 5000mAh, 120W fast charge
  • Connectivity: 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2
  • Operating system: Xiaomi HyperOS

The Xiaomi 14T was the cheapest phone available on the Xiaomi website at the time of writing. If you want a Xiaomi phone for under $500, you'll need to buy a new or refurbished model from at least a few years ago. Take the Xiaomi 12T, for instance, which has a lot to appreciate given it was yesteryear's mid-range model.

While older, it still comes with an eight-core processor and up to 12GB of memory if you choose the 256GB model. Connectivity is a bit older but still practical, with 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. The all-important screen is high resolution with a responsive 120Hz refresh rate, great reported brightness, and HDR10+ support. Effectively, whatever you're doing on the screen should look good, while videos and games should offer bigger-than-the-form-factor sound thanks to dual Dolby Atmos speakers.

Newer Xiaomi models will offer better photography, but the triple-stack rear camera array should still take great pics, most notably from the 108MP main camera. Even though the 5000mAh battery capacity isn't as generous as newer models, you can still expect around 16 hours of video streaming, which is plenty for all-day battery life. If you run flat, you can go from empty to full battery in around 30 minutes with the included charger. The major downside is that this phone only comes with three years of software support, meaning it will soon be at the end of its life.

For other budget phones, consider the newer Xiaomi 14T alongside these picks from Xiaomi's sub-brands: the Redmi Note 14 Pro or the POCO X7. But if the Xiaomi 12T sounds right for your needs, you can pair it with one of the M1 plans from our database.
