redONE is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in Singapore that offers SIM-only mobile plans on the StarHub 4G network. First founded in Malaysia in 2012, redONE launched in Singapore in 2019 and has been selling postpaid mobile plans ever since.

If you’re looking at a redONE SIM-only plan, there are a couple of options, all of which offer hundreds of gigabytes of local data without any excess data fees.

All redONE SIM-only plans are relegated to 4G access via the StarHub mobile network, but they do have free caller ID. There aren’t any excess data fees, but 4G speeds are slowed to 512kbps for the duration of the billing month once your data allowance is exhausted. Call minutes and SMS allowances include numbers in Singapore and Malaysia. redONE SIM-only plans also offer up to 60GB roaming data for Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia, plus 3GB of roaming data to six ASEAN destinations.

The cheapest redONE SIM-only plan is the Best 10, which costs $10.90 for 450GB of data for use in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. This redONE plan also includes 500 call minutes and 200 SMS. You also get 12GB roaming data for use in 16 ASEAN destinations, including Australia, Japan, and the Philippines. It also includes 100 IDD minutes to Malaysia.

redONE’s next SIM-only plan is the Best 20, which costs $20.90 per month for 650GB of data for use in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, plus 1,000 call minutes and 500 SMS. This redONE plan also includes 25GB of roaming data to 15 ASEAN destinations and 250 IDD minutes to Malaysia.

Follow these steps to sign up for a redONE SIM-only plan:

Choose the redONE SIM-only plan that’s right for you, then click on the corresponding ‘Go to Site’ button.
Confirm plan selection by selecting the ‘Sign up’ button beneath the same plan on the redONE website.
Enter your name, mobile number, email address, home address, region and area. Confirm the correct plan is selected, then tick the submission confirmation and click ‘Submit’.
Follow the guided prompts to complete sign-up.

redONE mobile plan add-ons

If you want to keep your number private, it costs $2.18 per month for ‘Caller ID Non Display’. redONE also offers the following one-off add-ons for its SIM-only plans:

redDATA SG: $5.45 for 5GB or $10.90 for 10GB of Singapore data.
redDATA MY: $4 for 1GB, $10 for 3GB or $15 for 5GB of Malaysia data.
redCALL: $1.09 for 100, $3.27 for 300 or $4.36 for 500 call minutes to all Singaporean and Malaysian numbers.
redSMS: $2.18 for 100 or $3.27 for 200 SMS to all Singaporean and Malaysian numbers.

redONE mobile data roaming

All redONE SIM-only plans include different roaming data allowances for Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. They also include 1GB of roaming data for Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar (unavailable at the time of writing), Philippines and Vietnam. Additionally, redONE offers the following 30-day roaming data add-ons:

redDATA Thailand + Indonesia: $4 for 1GB, $10 for 3GB or $15 for 5GB of roaming data for use in Indonesia and Thailand.
redDATA Oceania: $12 for 1GB or $22 for 2GB of roaming data for use in Australia and New Zealand.
redDATA Asia + USA: $16 for 1GB or $30 for 2GB of roaming data for use in Bangladesh, India, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, and the United States of America.
redDATA East Asia: $9 for 1GB, $25 for 3GB or $39 for 5GB of roaming data for use in China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
