CMLink is a telecommunications company that offers global data SIMs, with a mobile presence in Italy, Japan, Thailand, the United Kingdom and Singapore. The “CM” in CMLink is an abbreviation for “China Mobile”, which helps explain why CMLink SIM-only plans (which run on the Singtel network) have data allowances that are shareable across Singapore, Hong Kong and China, making them ideal for frequent flyers.

CMLink mobile SIM-only plans
CMLink offers a mix of 12-month contract and no-contract monthly SIM-only plans, however the inclusions are the same regardless of whether or not you opt for the contract version, so we recommend keeping flexible with the contract-free plans. All CMLink no-contract SIM-only plans have $0 registration fees, free local SIM delivery and free caller ID.
CMLink 4G plans
CMLink offers two 4G plans, both of which can be upgraded to 5G access and an additional 10GB of local data for $5 extra each month. Both plans are competitive in their price ranges, particularly for roaming data inclusions.
The cheapest 4G CMLink plan in our database is the 200GB SIM Only. It costs $7.70 per month for 200GB of data for use in Singapore, mainland China, and Hong Kong, 5GB roaming data for use in Macau, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand, a one-off 100GB additional Malaysia data (365-day expiry) after your first month, 300 local calls, and 100 local SMS.
Next up is the 300GB SIM Only, which costs $10.10 per month. For your money, you get 300GB of data for use in Singapore, mainland China, and Hong Kong, 12GB roaming data for all the destinations above plus Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam, a one-off 600GB of additional Malaysia and Indonesia data (365-day expiry) after your first month, 300 local calls, and 100 local SMS.
