Poco X8 Pro series new features
The Poco X8 Pro Max is the clear leader of the pack in this lineup. It uses a 3D IceLoop liquid cooling system to improve thermal efficiency and keep it from getting too hot while you’re playing graphics-intensive games. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset with 12GB of RAM, and includes a mammoth 8,500mAh battery, the largest to ever hit a Poco phone. Xiaomi says it can last two days on a single charge, and it’ll retain at least 80% of its capacity within six years of continual use.
It's protected by a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, an aluminium frame, glass back, and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness. It's capable of 100W wired HyperCharge and 27W reverse charging.
On the back, you’ll find a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide, as well as a 20MP selfie camera.
The smallerPoco X8 Pro features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, an aluminium back, and the same 3,500 nits of peak brightness. It’s powered by the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset and includes a slightly smaller IceLoop cooling system compared to the X8 Pro Max. It also boasts a 6,500mAh battery, with 100W wired HyperCharge and 27W reverse charging.
In terms of cameras, the X8 Pro is equipped with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 20MP selfie camera.
Both the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max run Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and come with six years of security updates.
