Ahead of its official unveiling on the 20th of April, Huawei has shared the exciting new colourways, design, and RAM and storage configurations for the new Pura 90 series.

What do the Huawei Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max look like?

The Pura 90 Pro and Pro Max are keeping the quirky triangle rear camera module of their predecessor. The colourways are perhaps the biggest departure from the Pura 80, with the Pro Max sporting a vibrant, summery, orange-blue gradient. There’s also an orange-purple gradient, a green-white gradient, and a pink-green gradient on offer.

Additionally, the Pro and Pro Max frames will feature thin bezels and flat edges (instead of rounded) for a modern touch.

The Huawei Pura 90 Pro will be available in four colourways, including Mulberry Black, Coconut White, Orange Soda, and Pink Guava. Additionally, you can grab the device in 12GB+25GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB RAM and storage configurations.

The Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max will be available in five colourways: Obsidian Black, Sunset Purple, Dawn Gold, Orange Ocean, and Emerald Lake. It’s available in the same storage and RAM variants as the Huawei Pura 90 Pro.

What new features will the Huawei Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max have?

Based on circulating rumours, it's expected that the Pura 90 lineup will feature the Kirin 9030 Pro processor. It’s also likely to use Huawei’s new HyperSpace Memory technology, a feature first used in the Mate 80 Pro. The feature expands the device’s internal RAM to produce faster, smoother performance, with reduced lag and buffering.

Rumours also indicate that the Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max will ship with a hefty 7,0000mAh battery, 100W fast charging, and an AMOLED screen with a max brightness of 5,000 nits. It’s also expected that the camera array will feature a new 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
