Singapore budget telco eight has just launched its first-ever 5G plans. Joining its two existing 4G plans (which retail for $8 and $11.80 per month), the new offerings start from as little as $14.80.
The first plan is available for $14.80 per month (or at the discounted cost of $148 per year) and comes with 588GB 5G data for use in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, a further 28GB of APAC roaming data, 8GB international roaming data, 688 local minutes, 388 IDD minutes (plus an additional 88 Myanmar minutes), and 128 local SMS.
eight's most expensive 5G plan is $18 per month (or $168 per year), offering 688GB of 5G data to use in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, 36GB APAC data, 18GB international roaming data, 888 local minutes, 488 IDD minutes (plus 88 Myanmar minutes) and 188 local SMS.
Currently, only M1 and SIMBA offer cheaper 5G plans, albeit with less data and fewer SMS. See how eight's 5G plans compare to other providers below.
