If you thought phone releases were done for the year, think again. Samsung just dropped some of the biggest tech news this year, announcing the release of its first-ever twice-folding smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold.
Here's everything we know so far about the Galaxy Z TriFold, including its Singapore price and release date.
What does the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold look like?

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold looks a lot like the Galaxy Z Fold7, simply with 50% (give or take) more screen real estate. Comprised of three panels, the Z TriFold boasts a 6.5-inch AMOLED cover screen that opens up to a massive 10-inch AMOLED display, both with 120Hz adaptive refresh rates.
Like its smaller Fold counterpart, the Galaxy Z TriFold is exceptionally thin, coming in at just 3.9mm at its thinnest point. While folded, its thickness is 12.9mm, which is a little over two Galaxy S25 Edges stacked on top of each other. Of course, that extra screen size does come at a cost, with the device weighing in at 309g.
Supporting the frame is Samsung's new "Armor FlexHinge", two differently-sized hinges designed for a smoother and more stable folding experience with minimal gap.
As for colours, there's only one option: Crafted Black.
What features does the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold have?
The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold runs on a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with 16GB of memory and either 512GB or 1TB of storage. It's powered by a 5,600mAh three-cell battery, which, according to Samsung, offers "all-day endurance", combined with 45W fast charging.
As you can imagine, the Z TriFold is designed for multitasking, with multiple resizable app windows possible side-by-side.

Of course, Samsung is also packing Galaxy AI into the Z TriFold, with features like Photo Assist and Gemini Live magnified on the big screen.
It's clear this isn't a phone designed to be a photography powerhouse, given how little Samsung touched on it during the announcement, but the triple-lens setup (12MP ultrawide, 200MP wide-angle, and 10MP telephoto) should be more than enough to take some decent snaps.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Singapore price
As the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold has only just been announced today, we have no local pricing announced yet. Our closest guess comes from Korean pricing, which at KRW 3,590,400 converts to around SG$3,173. However, we're expecting to learn more tomorrow, so check back then.
During the included one-year warranty period, customers will receive priority service at Samsung Experience Stores, a dedicated support hotline, unlimited repair pickup and delivery, one-time screen replacement, one-time screen protector replacement, and a one-time 50% discount on any out-of-warranty repair.
In addition to the usual retailers, we expect Singtel, StarHub and M1 all to offer the Galaxy Z TriFold once it's released. We'll update this page closer to release, so check back soon.
As per usual, though, the best value option is to purchase the device outright and pair it with a cheap SIM-only plan, like one of the below.
