The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max represent Apple's best tech. The pair are a little bigger than last year's models, have longer-lasting batteries, a new faster processor, and more durable displays.
In terms of camera, both have a new 48MP primary camera (that has zero-shutter lag when shooting RAW) and a new 48MP ultra-wide lens. Notably, the 48MP ultra-wide lens can be used for 48MP macro photography.
These are joined by a 5x optical zoom lens. This around, both the smaller iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max get the same zoom lens. Last year, the smaller Pro got a shorter range.
There's also a new camera control "button" for taking photos without touching the screen.
Other new features include Apple Intelligence support, WiFi 7, and faster wireless charging.
iPhone 16 Pro plans and iPhone 16 Pro Max plans are available through Singtel, M1, and Starhub.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are the biggest upgrades we've seen to the "standard" iPhones in a few years. They get a brand new processor rather than a hand me down, bigger batteries, and more durable displays.
The pair also benefit from the action button that we first saw on last year's Pros. The action button works as a mute switch by default, but can be customised to do almost anything. They also feature the new camera control "button".
Other new features include an upgraded ultra-wide lens with macro support, Apple Intelligence, WiFi 7, and faster wireless charging.
iPhone 16 plans and iPhone 16 Plus plans are available from Singtel, M1, and Starhub.
